Register Voters
If you're not registered, you can't vote. Unfortunately a lot of people don't know this. If you are an authorized Voter Registrar (VDVR), help us with voter registration events at High Schools, Junior Colleges, Gyms, Bookstores, Supermarkets and other places where prospective voters are found.
Knock on Doors
Block-walk with other volunteers. Door-to-door canvassing is a good method of registering voters, discussing candidates and the issues, and most importantly, Getting Out The Vote. People in Apartments and Multi-Family Housing are particularly needed!
Make Phone Calls
Jump on a phone bank, call registered voters. A good technique for discussing candidates, issues, and Getting Out The Vote. Multilingual speakers are particularly helpful!
Text, Digital and Social Media
We need younger, more diversified voters and we're not gonna reach them with traditional methods. Volunteers engage via social media, text, email, and digital communications to create awareness and excitement about Voting Democrat.
Meet the Candidates
Some are small Meet & Greets, some are much larger! The best way to get excited about Democrats running for office is to meet them, hear what they have to say, get answers to your questions.
Attend Meetings, Rallies, Events
Concerned about flooding? Education? Women's Reproductive Rights? Transportation? Social Justice? Political Integrity? Get out with other like-minded people and make a difference!
